Oi va voi.

Oi Va Voi es un grupo británico. Pero no es el típico grupo británico. Si así lo fuera no hablaría de ellos. El pop británico me aburre profundamente. Y no estamos aquí para aburrirnos. Nik Ammar (guitarra), Josh Breslaw (percusión), Leo Bryant (bajo), Steve Levi (clarinete y voz), Lemez Lovas (trompeta, voz, piano y teclados) y Sophie Solomon (violín, viola, piano y acordeón), forman Oi Va Voi. Estamos hablando de músicos de verdad, no de esos músicos que tanto abundan en el pop británico, que muestran sus deficiencias y límites en cada directo. Su "multiculturalismo electrónico" bebe de la tradición de la Vieja Europa centrándose, sobre todo, en el este y en los sonidos orientalizantes, desde una estética pop que recuerda las sendas abiertas por Nitin Sawhney o Talvin Sing.
